Engaging Teachers in the Land of Enchantment

Between 2011-2018, New Mexico engaged in a series of major reform initiatives, including the roll out of a teacher evaluation program. This case study analyzes the steps New Mexico’s Public Education Department (PED) took to initiate and improve this program. In particular, the study looks at the efforts PED took to engage teachers and districts in making reform decisions.
